Had a great time walking for the Big House Big Heart charity run and walk. Really fun to cross the finish line

on the 50 yard line of the UM football field and see yourself on the jumbotron screen!

Summer in the U.P.

Lori and Ethan made a trip to Nana and Papa's this Summer. How could you not enjoy yourself helping Papa with his lawn mower, chutes and ladders, a trip into the mine with Nana and a fireman's parade!

U.P. Golfin'

Nana and Papa took Ethan and Lori out golfing during their visit this Summer. If Ethan's game isn't the best, he can still drive the cart!

Monroe County Fair!

Is there nothing more awesome than a combine demolition derby!?! We had a great day of rides, games, huge prize winning rabbits, corn dogs and fries, and of course demolition combine style! Plus check out Ethan on Kathy's red-hot scooter, the day couldn't have gotten any better!

Ridin' his bike!

A lot of determination and effort from Ethan this month as he learns to ride his bike without training wheels. We tried a few different methods, but it was the broomstick on the bike that did the trick. We've since taken the stick off his bike and he's riding around the block like a pro!

Summer Time

Summer has been full of great adventures. Frisbee in the park, 'camping', the zoo with cousin Owen and much more to come!

Orlando

Orlando was great this year. Revisited Gatorland this year, who can't resist gators! Tried some cane pole fishing, a few nibbles, no bites.

Universal Studios

Spent a couple days at Universal Studios. Dr. Suess was a favorite, One-fish-Two-Fish was great, (who know we'd get wet?!) Also, enjoyed the Flying Unicorn rollercoaster, Ethan liked going fast! Wish we'd known about the SpiderMan ride, Ethan's comment after riding, "Dad, why did they make it so scary?" yes, it was way too much for everyone. Next time we'll stay in 'Suessland'

Chicago

Spent a weekend in Chicago with Uncle Glen and Uncle Tom. Had a great time at the Field Museum with the dinosaurs and mummies the first day. Then at Shedd's Aquarium the next day where Cousin Owen, Aunt Ann and Uncle Steve joined us. Ethan and Owen had a great time seeing dolphins, beluga, sting rays and of course sharks and lizards!

Paint job

Painted the downstairs hallway. Ethan did a fantastic job with the cinder block.
